專利服務(wù)
從1984年中國(guó)專利法開(kāi)始實(shí)施起，中國(guó)國(guó)際貿(mào)易促進(jìn)委員會(huì)專利商標(biāo)事務(wù)所開(kāi)始為國(guó)內(nèi)外申請(qǐng)人提供專利服務(wù)，包括：專利申請(qǐng)前咨詢、專利申請(qǐng)與復(fù)審、專利行政訴訟、專利檢索與分析、專利權(quán)無(wú)效、專利侵權(quán)檢索與分析、專利行政和司法保護(hù)、專利許可和技術(shù)轉(zhuǎn)讓、專利年金繳納、專利文獻(xiàn)與非專利文獻(xiàn)的檢索及監(jiān)視等。
事務(wù)所專利代理人具有豐富的辦案經(jīng)驗(yàn)。他們不僅具有涵蓋各領(lǐng)域的技術(shù)背景、豐富的中國(guó)法律知識(shí)，而且對(duì)于國(guó)外專利相關(guān)法律和實(shí)踐也具有較深入的了解，不少代理人還在國(guó)外學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)相關(guān)國(guó)家或者地區(qū)的專利知識(shí)。
國(guó)際專利部門(mén)主要包括機(jī)械處、電學(xué)處和化工處。機(jī)械處主要從事機(jī)械工程、冶金、汽車(chē)工程和紡織工程等領(lǐng)域的專利申請(qǐng)業(yè)務(wù)。該處共55名代理人，其中2人獲得博士學(xué)位，47人獲得碩士學(xué)位。機(jī)械處外觀設(shè)計(jì)組18名代理人負(fù)責(zé)外觀設(shè)計(jì)專利申請(qǐng)業(yè)務(wù)。電學(xué)處主要從事電子工程、通訊、計(jì)算機(jī)、半導(dǎo)體和自動(dòng)控制等領(lǐng)域的專利申請(qǐng)業(yè)務(wù)。該處共54名代理人，其中10人獲得博士學(xué)位，45人獲得碩士學(xué)位?；ぬ幹饕獜氖禄瘜W(xué)、制藥、生物技術(shù)和材料等領(lǐng)域的專利申請(qǐng)業(yè)務(wù)。該處共53名代理人，其中12人獲得博士學(xué)位，39人獲得碩士學(xué)位。
國(guó)內(nèi)專利處為國(guó)內(nèi)客戶在多領(lǐng)域提供專利申請(qǐng)服務(wù)。該部門(mén)共37名代理人，其中5人獲得博士學(xué)位，25人獲得碩士學(xué)位。

Patent Services
Since the implementation of the Patent Law in 1984, the firm has begun its patent services for domestic and foreign clients, including pre-filing consultation, patent prosecution and reexamination, patent administrative litigation, patent search and analysis, patent invalidation, patent infringement search and analysis, administrative and judicial enforcement, patent licensing and technology transfer, annuities payment, patent and non-patent document search and surveillance.
Patent attorneys of the firm have rich experience, whose technical backgrounds ensure the extension of their services to all industries, while their legal educations in both Chinese laws and foreign laws ensure the offering of services to both domestic and foreign clients. Many patent attorneys have experience of studying abroad.
The international patent department includes technically the mechanical patent department, the electrical patent department and the chemical patent department. The mechanical patent department has 55 patent attorneys with expertise in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, automobile engineering and textile machinery, etc. among whom, 2 received Ph.D. and 47 hold master’s degree. In this department, there is a team of 18 attorneys dedicated to prosecution and protection of industrial designs. The electrical patent department has 54 patent attorneys with expertise in electrical engineering, telecommunication, computer science, semiconductor and automatic control, etc. among whom, 10 received Ph.D. and 45 hold master’s degree. The chemical patent department has 53 patent attorneys with expertise in chemistry, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and materials, etc. among whom, 12 received Ph.D. and 39 hold master’s degree.
The domestic patent department has 37 patent attorneys with expertise in diversified technologies dedicated to providing services to domestic clients, among whom, 5 received Ph.D. and 25 hold master’s degree.

Trademark Services
The trademark services of the firm dates back to 1957, in a time even earlier than the implementation of the Chinese Trademark Law in 1982. The trademark services of the firm include trademark registration consultation, trademark application and review, trademark administrative litigation, disputes concerning trademark registration and use, trademark opposition and invalidation, trademark licensing, transfer and contract drafting, trademark renewal, due diligence investigation, trademark search and surveillance, administrative and judicial enforcement.
Trademark attorneys of the firm have rich experience. They are not only familiar with Chinese laws but also know foreign ones. Many trademark attorneys have experience of studying abroad. The international trademark department is responsible for trademark prosecution and protection in China and has 32 trademark professionals receiving degrees in law and/or language.
The domestic trademark department serve mainly domestic clients and has 11 trademark professionals receiving degrees in law and/or foreign language.
